Willard home

Last Thursday we went to Willard home then we went to Willard home we went in and sat down then Rebecca got her violin and played jiggle bells then amlie play the the pano then Flo played the peno to the Libby play the glockenspiel then we read to the people and gave our art to the people then we we back to calss. Little Gardens

last term we had little gardens everyone planted one I planted cress when it was grown I had some of it I did like it then we tried tried to grow it again.

This year we have been doing art my favourite piece of art we made cartoon art I made happy cat it took awhile but I did it this is what I did.

Market day

Today was market day I was so excited I bought  $3.00 to school for the market day. First we had a look around then we ran back to class and took my money. I ran around buying stuff.

We sold

• The Candy Cane Reindeer for $1
• Popsicle Stick Christmas Trees for 50c
• Wooden Flat Packs for $2

We made $144.10 which was great!

Te reo

On Monday we do te reo with room 7. We made a slide show.

I learnt how to say you are eating in Maori. It is hard to learn a new language but I like the challenge.

Sport start

We have bean doing gymnastics. There are different ways of traveling, these include: batamen, realev, chase, and the step hop. There are different ways of rolling, these include: the elephant roll, the tuck roll, pencil roll, and the dish roll. There are also different types of stretches, including: stretch, straddle, pike and the tuck.

Flat pack

 Design Brief
We want a decorative model that can be put on top of the shelves by the windows. The model needs to be:

• Made from cardboard
• A flat pack design
• Good enough to go in a shop

We had a go at following instructions to make a flat pack Christmas Tree. We used this concept to help us to create our own flat pack using the design process.

As part of the design process we created prototypes and reflected on what worked and what didn't.

Seed2table

Today was seed2table today we made pasta meatballs with tomato sauce with the pasta we made cauliflower for our podding we had black bean brownies. We went into the library to look at part of plans the difference things is the roots the stems the leaves flower fruit and seeds.

Moment in time

A Moment In Time

I hear raindrops coming down smashing on the ground.

I hear thunder striking down.

I see rain dropping faster than a car going down.

I see lightning striking down faster than it's ever gone

I feel rain slowly coming in my shoes.

I feel my socks absorbing the rain.

I think it’s flooding.

I wonder when the rain is going to stop?

Week 5 panekirtanga

 Yellow hat: today I showed panekirtanga because I helped Henry make a costume. 

Red hat: in discovery I  felt good when I made Henry feel good when I helped him build a costume for his movie -  ' Goosebumps'. He said since you helped me a lot you can go in the movie. 

Blue Hat: the point of discovery time is to work together with people you have never worked with before. You might become their friend. 

Maths

Today we did maths for the hole day I went to the joes class we had to measure stuff I used cotton wool then I got 2 boxes I filled 1 box the I tipped it in other box to figure out which is bigger.

Today we did maths for the hole day  I went to the water xylophone we had to make a xylophone sound with water in a jar we filled the jar with a little bit of water then we play to then we asked Brenda to video as playing it she put it on YouTube you can go and watch it.

Today we did maths we had actives for the day then we went I went to the tinfoil boats this is my boat.

We went out we put our boats on the water then we put weights on our boats then we put as much as we can.

Week 4 parekiretanga

Yellow hat: I enjoyed playing snap with Max and Libby.

Black hat: when I was playing snap with Max and Libby it was really hard to snap the cards to get it.

Red hat: I made Max feel good because I let him play snap with me.

Green hat: next time I will play something different then today.
